What assets do you need from me?

The more assets the richer your site content will be!

However, during Phase 2: Content Gathering we will require you to provide at a minimum;

  • Brand Styleguide with Logo, Fonts & Colour Palette

  • 4+ High res brand images or stock photos

  • Website copy - you’ll find a handy Website Copy Template provided in your portal

If you currently have a website you’d like migrated to Squarespace;

  • Your existing hosting platform details (e.g. Wordpress, Wix, GoDaddy, Elementor)

  • Your existing domain details

  • All integrations you’d like transferred (e.g. Marketing, Booking system, Analytics, Reviews)

What if I don’t have all my content or images ready yet?

That’s totally fine — we can schedule your Build Week for a time that suits you. Just give us an idea of when your assets (like copy, images, or branding) will be ready when you fill out the enquiry form, and we’ll plan around that.

I need more than 5 pages — is that possible?

Absolutely. Our Extra Pages add-on lets you expand your site beyond the included 5 pages. Just list the extra pages you need in the enquiry form, and we’ll include them in your project scope and timeline.

What is something doesn’t work the way I expected — is there a guarantee?

You're never left in the dark — we check in with you at key points to make sure you’re happy with how things look and feel before anything goes live. That way, there are no surprises.

You’ll walk away with a responsive, fully functional site that works smoothly on all devices — exactly as we agreed on. And if anything isn’t right within the original scope, we’ll fix it. Simple as that.

Plus, I’m not disappearing after launch — I’ll be available for 30 days with any email support you may need.

I’m not tech-savvy. Will I be able to update the website in the future?

Yes — that’s one of the main reasons I use Squarespace. It’s built for non-tech folks. You will also get a login to our client portal with resources and how-to videos so you feel confident updating things down the track.

Do I need to purchase hosting or a domain seperately?

Yes — every Squarespace website needs an active Squarespace plan and a registered domain. These are billed directly through Squarespace and aren’t included in your Web In A Week package.

We recommend the Business Plan, which includes your first year of domain registration free when purchased annually.

Don’t have a domain yet? We’ll guide you through registering this when you purchase your plan.

Already have a domain or website? We’ll help you connect or transfer it to Squarespace.

We’ll make sure everything’s running smoothly before your site goes live.

What kind of businesses do you work with?

Currently service-based small businesses — like trades, wellness professionals, creatives, and consultants. If you offer a service and want a clean, easy-to-manage website, we’ll get along like a house on fire.

What are the design limitations with the website?

Great question. With any streamlined design service like ours, there are a few intentional limitations — all designed to keep your site easy for you to manage without needing a developer later on.

Here’s what that means in practice:

  • No custom coding — So you won’t get complex animations (like bouncing text or scroll-triggered effects) or intricate layout tricks (like overlapping sections or floating buttons).

  • No heavy custom integrations — We connect your existing tools (like booking platforms or email marketing), but we don’t build custom software features or third-party apps.

  • No fully custom functionality — We work within the powerful features Squarespace offers to keep things fast, stable, and easy for you to update.

The upside? You get a beautiful, professional site that’s built to convert and built for you to confidently edit, update, and grow — without needing to hire someone every time you want to change a photo or update your hours.

How can you build a whole website in just one week?

Because it’s all I focus on that week. I don’t juggle multiple clients — when your project starts, you’ve got my full attention. Backed by years working as an industry designer, I’ve refined a clear, repeatable process that helps us move quickly without cutting corners.

Will rushing things mean lower quality?

Fair question but not at all. In fact, having a clear timeline helps avoid the usual drag-out process where weeks go by waiting on feedback or decisions. The one-week structure actually helps both of us stay focused and aligned — so we get a great result, faster.
